Wandering Wednesday #25

Wandering WednesdayI can’t believe we have been partying for 25 weeks already! I love that I have been able to get to know so many wonderful bloggers, like YOU! Thank you so much for coming and being a part of Wandering Wednesday week after week! If you are new, Welcome! We are so glad to have you!!!

We are so excited you are here with us today! Did you like the Exciting new CHANGES we announced last week?

Our Exciting New Changes! (In case you missed them!)

  • We Have started a Wandering Wednesday Board on Pinterest! We will pin ALL the posts you share at Wandering Wednesday there! So be sure to follow the board and REPIN your FAVORITE Posts from this week to your boards!
  • With all our Featured posts we will also make a SPECIAL GRAPHIC with their pins advertising Wandering Wednesday for even more exposure!
  • With these Great Changes, we have also decided to honor more blogs! So I will still choose my favorite, our guest host will choose hers, and we will still vote for the best one! We will then honor the three posts that got the most clicks from the week before!

I hope you are as excited as I am with the NEW CHANGES! Don’t forget to say, “hi” in the comments and let us know what you think of the changes! Now, let’s get to know Lori, our guest host!

Meet Lori, from Choosing Wisdom!

It’s been a great month and I have loved Wandering with you on Wednesdays! It has been wonderful to get to know each of your blogs a little better. For my last week of guest hosting, I thought I would share a few new things about me.
I love the sun, sushi, traveling, tandem biking, curling up with a good book, sweet and savory treats, quotes that make me think and learning something new and creative. I have a unique degree in that I finished it over a 20 year period.  It is considered a B.A. in general studies with an emphasis in English and Family Studies. Six months before I got married I spent a semester studying abroad in Israel and it has had a profound effect on my life. I have been married for almost 30 years and are officially empty nesters. We have four adult children (2 married) and 1 3/4 grandsons.  We have lived in the same town for 22 years and in the same house for 19. I love efficiency and to feel in control, but have learned it is rarely the case. My husband’s middle name is “adventure” and my kids all take after him.  They have taught me to enjoy the ride.
Lori can be found on FaceBook, Pinterest, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.  Her blog is Choosing Wisdom, but she can also be found contributing on Evolve! and Midday Mormings.

We are so excited to share “Our Favorite Things” With you this week! All my favorite picks will be shared on my Facebook page and I will also pin it to Pinterest! So here we go!

My Favorite Pick!

This week I loved Tips for Leaving the House with Multiple Kids from The Salty Mamas.  She gives some great tips on how to get out of the house without losing your mind!  Have you ever left the house feeling like you packed for a weekend giveaway?  We have all been there, but our bag should have more snacks and less drama.  She makes it easy peasy and it’s a good reminder for moms that it can be simple to leave the house with just the minimum and a smile on your face.

 Lori’s Favorite!

My favorite for the week was Juggling the Joys of Motherhood by Halley of Momatello.com.
Too often we associate balance with everything being perfect or going as planned.  I loved her ideas for embracing the imperfect and finding your own way of doing things to create a balance unique to you and your family. There is never only one right way of doing things and as I told Halley – Don’t stress too much and enjoy the ride!

The Viewers Favorite!

The favorite this week by the viewers was Lori’s Post about the Of Tandems, Types and Ties that Bind

  1. Oh my goodness, missed all the exciting new changes last week b/c still in transit back from my month of travels, but short version, I love them! And thanks for reposting the updated widget codes, too – been meaning to get them from you, so will work on updating them now on my site! 🙂 (and please do add me to the pinterest board, too! 🙂 )

  2. Being a student’s wife I use frugality to stick to our family budget, creativity when it comes teaching our kiddos and somehow find time to record those life lesson learned among the CRAZY that is higher education student life. I am so glad to share and for you hosting
