30 Must-Have Items for Your Toddler Girl

Having had 3 toddler girls of my own, and now a toddler granddaughter, I have always loved shopping for this age!  There are so many toy options that help build motor skills and critical thinking. And let’s be honest, they are so cute!  Even my 11-year-old daughter has put a couple of these fun items on her wish list.

Personalized Name Puzzle:  My girls always loved puzzles.  This one will have their name! Help them learn to recognize their name and letters while improving those fine motor skills.

My First Purse: Mom’s purse is always fascinating.  Give them a purse they can call their own.  Role play is important for brain development and this toy is the perfect gateway to help them develop those critical thinking skills.

Discover Button Art: Toddlers love hands-on creative play and this will satisfy that.  Hands-on toys are great for development. This toy will also help develop those fine motor skills.

LeapFrog Number Lovin’ Oven: Toddlers want to mimic what they see adults doing.  This little oven will help with roleplay for the aspiring little chef.  They can bake creations just like mom does. An added bonus with this toy helps introduce math concepts and numbers.

Bright Beats Dance & Move BeatBo: Toddlers love music.  Get your little one moving with this dancing toy.  Encourages movement and its fun to dance! Teaches concepts of ABCs, counting, colors and more.

We’re Going on a Bear Hunt:  Reading is such an important part of early development.  My children always loved it when I read to them. This is a book your toddler is sure to want you to read over and over.  It comes with a plush bear.

The Napping House:  This story is a fun tale of trying to sleep.  This is a beatiful book your toddler will want to hear with vibrant illustrations.

Melissa and Doug Examine and Treat Vet Play.  My children loved to play doctor or vet. Makebelieve play was one of their favorite activities.  For the animal lover, this vet play kit will keep them happy for hours. It has everything you could possibly think of!

Step2 Up and Down Roller Coaster Ride On:  Top rated ride on toy for your active toddler

Leap Frog Musical Rainbow Tea Set: Every girl needs a tea set and this one lights up and sings songs!

Play Dishes: More make-believe play time with this durable dish set.

Foam Bath Time Letters and Shapes:  My toddlers went through more than one set of these!  They loved to make believe play, spell “words” and stick the shapes all over the bathtub walls.  Some nights it was hard to get them out of the tub.

Jumbo Farm Animals:  Playtime can be a time for learning.  These farm animals are fun to play with and teach your children basic animal vocabulary.  Thee animals encourage imaginative play time.

Unicorn Blanket:  This will keep your toddler warm and inspire imaginative play.  Unicorns are all the rage these days and your toddler will feel like one in this soft blanket!  Use this for camping, napping, playing or snuggling up to read a book.
