What Do You Meme?

What Do You Meme? Is one of the best 4 person card games that is going to have your whole group laughing hysterically.

In this game, one of the players picks a random “meme” card and the rest of the group uses the cards in their hand to caption the meme. The person who picked the meme card gathers all the other player’s cards and chooses the one they think best fits the meme. Think apples to apples but with funny, classic memes!

Dutch Blitz

If you love fast-paced 4 person card games, Dutch Blitz is the game for your group! This game moves really quickly to keep things exciting and keep you on your toes!

Play Nine

Play Nine is one of my personal favorites. It is a fast-paced game that takes a little bit of luck and a whole lot of strategy. The goal of the game, is to have the lowest cards out of the group. This one will become a quick favorite!

Code Name

Code Names is also one of those 4 person card games you’re going to love and you are going to want to play again and again!

This game also takes a lot of strategy, but it’s fun because you are separated into two teams and the more you can think like your teammates, the better you are going to do!

Charades Party Game

Charades Party Game is a different card game that will have your whole group involved and laughing! In this game, you separate into teams and whichever team can guess all the words on their cards by having someone act them out, wins! If you love charades, this is the perfect game for you.

Crazy Eights

If you’re looking for fun 4 person card games to play with a deck of cards, give crazy eights a try! In this game, a single 52-card deck is used (or you can get a Crazy Eights deck).

Each player is dealt 5 cards each and the rest of the cards are placed in a pile in the center of the players. The top card is placed face up to start the game and each player matches the rank or suit one card at a time. If a player does not have a card that will work to play, they draw from the middle pile until they can make a play. 8s are always valid, and allow players to optionally reverse the game. The winner is the one who can get rid of all their cards first!

Slap Jack

Slap Jack is the perfect card game if you’re looking for one that you can play with kids. This is one that they will have fun with and be able to easily understand and pick up on.

To play this game, everyone sits in a circle around a table or on the floor. Deal all of the cards, clockwise, until you run out. All the players hold their cards facedown without looking at them. One player at a time draws a card from the top of their own deck (flip it out, so that the player flipping it can’t see the card before it is played) places the card in the center.

Each player continues to place their cards in the center going clockwise.

When a Jack court card is played, you want to be the first one to “slap” it. If more than one player slaps at once, the person whose hand is most in contact with the Jack adds all the cards to their pile. If a player slaps a card that isn’t a Jack, they must give the top card in his or her pile to the player who placed the slapped card. That player adds the extra card to the bottom of their own deck.

When a player runs out of cards, the player is out—unless they can slap a Jack laid by someone else. At that point, the player who was “out” is back in and can play with the cards collected from the pile. The game ends when one player wins all of the cards.

Knockout Whist

In this game, each player gets seven cards. The next card is turned over and becomes the trump suit. The player to the left of the dealer plays a card in the middle first. Each player follows the suit led, if they can.

If they can’t, they can play any other card, including a trump card. The highest trump card wins the trick or, if no trumps are played, the highest card of the suit led will win. The winner starts the next round.

Once all cards are played, players without any tricks are out. The player with the most tricks picks a new trump for the next hand. The number of cards dealt goes down by one each hand until only one player is left and becomes the winner!
