Peach Hand Pies in the Air Fryer
I love summer! I love it for so many reasons, but one of my favorite reasons is Ham Orchards. Ham Orchards in my opinion is the best peach farm in all of Texas! We love going up there tasting the peach ice cream, eating fudge, enjoying the BBQ, and grab a big box of peaches to bring home. That big box of peaches then turns into a million and a half different peach recipes that are delicious and irresistible, peach hand pies being one of them! We also love peach streusel bread and peaches and cream bars.
This year we decided to test out peach hand pies in the air fryer and it was seriously amazing!

Tips and Tricks and FAQ
- If you don’t have fresh peaches you can use frozen or canned peaches. If using canned peaches, use 2 cups.
- If you prefer to not use the drizzle you can sprinkle with sugar instead when you remove them from the air fryer.
What kind of peaches should I use?
Yellow peaches make the best pies. These are normally more sweet and juicy. White peaches don’t have as much flavor for the peach pie filling.
Should I peel the peaches?
You do not need to peel the peaches for this air fryer peach hand pie recipe. You just want to make sure that you wash the peaches well and rub off the fuzz.
Can I use canned peaches?
I highly recommend using fresh peaches when they are in season. When it is out of season use canned peaches. These have the same freshness as peaches fresh during peach season. Substitute the same amount of canned peaches as the recipe calls for fresh peaches.
Do I crimp a hand pie?
You want to be sure you seal the pie so the filling does not leak out the side.
- Be sure you leave ¼ inch of bare crust around the filling.
- Brush edges with water
- Fold over pie crust
- Crimp with a fork around the edges.
Storage
In the Freezer
You can freeze hand pies in the freezer. You will want to cool them completely and then place a layer of parchment between each hand pie. Place in a freezer-safe bag.
When ready to enjoy, place them in the fridge overnight.
You can also freeze air fryer peach hand pies prior to baking. Assemble pies, freeze on parchment paper flat on a tray until frozen, then place in a freezer bag with parchment paper in between. These will last for about 1 month in the freezer.
On the Counter
Peach pies will last on the counter in an airtight container for 2 days. If you don’t consume them prior to that, you will want to place them in the fridge.
Reheat
You can quickly warm up your hand pies in the microwave. 20-30 seconds is all that you need. This can make your crust soggy. YOu can reheat them in the oven at 375 degrees for about 5 minutes or pop them back in the air fryer to haet and crispy them back up.
Can I use different fruits?
If you want to make different types of air fryer hand pies it is easy. Just substitute the fruit for a different find. Use the same recipe just swap the fruit.
