I love this, it’s such a feel-good article. I’m so lucky to be the mom that I am and love my kids so much. I know it’s not for everyone, but I agree that some women out there who can’t have kids (maybe not just infertile but those who don’t have someone to father the children) should be willing to look into other options. Adoption is so sweet, and so are taking in foster kids. I can’t wait to share this article with my friends.

You have some good points in this! I would say, though, that adoption isn’t a solution to infertility. It’s important to work through that loss and grief before adopting. I have talked with sooo many adoptees (me included) who’s adoptive parents were infertile and hadn’t dealt with that loss. A lot of those unresolved feelings/emotions/reactions are then played out on the child, to which it’s not their fault. Adoption can be a great thing, but our hearts have to be in the right place 🙂

Yes! Absolutely your heart does need to be in the right place! My uncle was adopted into our family and he was a huge blessing to our family. It is beautiful but the family absolutely needs to be ready for it 🙂 thanks!
