If you know me at all you know that I love Valentine’s Day! I love everything about it! In fact, I love it so much every year we have a great big family Valentine’s Day Dinner! My husband is not a fan of Valentine’s Day, but we are working on him! A big part of Valentine’s Day for me is decorating! I love to display pink and red (my two favorite colors) throughout the house! One of my favorite ways to do this is with Valentine’s Day Banners displayed throughout the home!
I am a total sucker for bunting banners! Do you love them too?
So, since I love Valentine’s Day and bunting banners I thought what better way to celebrate than with a Valentine’s Day bunting banner!
So without further ado, I will teach you just how easy it is to make a Valentine’s Day Bunting Banner!
What I love about this project is that it is such a simple craft that is easy to make, but allows you to feel festive during Valentine’s Day!
Here’s what you need to make your Valentine’s Day Bunting
Bakers Twine (I love this one and it’s such a great deal!)
Your favorite Printable Valentine’s Day bunting banner! (We’ve got 4 great ones from you to choose from click here!)
~First, go ahead and print off whichever Valentine’ garland you would like to use! Print it as many times as you would like to get the desired amount of pieces you need! I use this printer for printing all my printables! It is super affordable and prints fantastic! Check it out here! I also use this Presentation Paper which is awesome for printing on thicker nicer paper. I have also started instant ink and I am in love! You can try it out for a month here for free!
~After you print out your Valentine’s day bunting, then you will cut it out! If you are doing tons of cutting I highly recommend this paper cutter! It is a lifesaver with lots of cutting!
~Once cut, arrange the flags in the order you want to display them.
~Then, you will fold each bunting on the dotted line. The dotted line is an easy way to make sure you fold them all the same size. If you are choosing to use small close pins, just cut them off on the dotted line.
~After that you will take your twine and arrange it between the front and the part you folded over.
~You will then hot glue the flap that you folded over to the back of the front.
~You don’t want to glue the string in place because you want to be able to move the Valentine’s Day bunting flags around on the string to space them how you like once you hang the garland.
~That’s it! It’s that simple! You now have your Valentine’s. Day Banner Bunting to hang up in your home.
