It’s even more fun if you grab the fun colored noodles at the store or add some different colors with food coloring.
The Ground is Lava
Play this classic game with your kids this summer! For inside play, gather all the pillows and blankets in the house and make some fun paths to escape the lava on the ground! If you play this outside, get creative and use ride on toys or draw some safe spaces on the patio with sidewalk chalk.
If you live in a really hot place try melting some crayons in the sun. Glue them on some paper or canvas and let the sun make the art! Pro Tip: It needs to be around 105 degrees outside for your crayons to melt, so keep that in mind. If you are wanting the melting to start faster, shave or grate the crayons into small pieces.
Pro Mom Tip! If it does not get that hot you can always melt crayons with a hair dryer!

Some fun ideas are having them jump through hula hoops, balancing on the garden hose, or having to slide down the slide on their belly.
Make Cardboard Cars and go to the “Drive In”
My kids feel like it’s the most special thing when they get to pick a movie and sit in their “cars.” The most fun part is getting their cardboard box car all ready. Decorate it with fun drawings and designs. Your kids will be entertained for hours!
Take a couple minutes and lay down and look up at the sky. Tell them about clouds and help them find different shapes in them for a fun and relaxing afternoon.
