What better way to spend your time with friends or family than with a picture scavenger hunt?! This picture scavenger hunt is perfect for all ages and will for sure keep you laughing and having fun!

Picture Scavenger Hunt

We love scavenger hunts for kids in our house! It always seems to spark some sort of adventure which the kids love!

Recently, the picture scavenger hunt game has become super popular! This game involves all the rules of a normal scavenger hunt, except here you just take pictures of things and show them all at the end!

Scavenger hunts are a great way to get out of the house and have fun without spending tons of money. They also allow you to get to know your friends and family better as you work in teams to find the things you are looking for.

Plus, you’ll be laughing the whole time as you strive to take selfies with the most ridiculous things! It makes the game so much more fun! I love that a picture scavenger hunt helps you capture memories as you play and have a great time doing! If scavenger hunts are your thing to be sure to grab our Camping scavenger hunt and our hotel scavenger hunt as well!

How to Play Picture Scavenger Hunt

The rules to picture scavenger hunt are super simple!

First, you should split into groups. You can determine groups by birthday, hair color, eye color, shirt color, or boys vs. girls, adults vs. kids, etc.

Once groups are determined, be sure that each group has access to a phone that can take pictures, the picture scavenger hunt, and a car (plus someone old enough to drive it!).

You will start the game with everyone at a mutual starting point. This can be a house or a parking lot. Have everyone start outside the cars, all lined up. Once you say go all groups go to their cars and start the scavenger hunt!

Next, you must find and take a picture with each item on the picture scavenger hunt list. You don’t have to have a selfie with all the group members in it (though this is a lot more fun) but you do need to have at least ONE group member in each picture with the item!

After having found all of your items and taking pictures with them, go back to the mutual spot where you started, and whoever gets their first wins!
