Here are “Our Favorite Picks” from last week!

Michele’s Favorite Pick!

As a mom with two toddlers at home, I really appreciated the insight from Live Well Play Together about Adjusting to Life with Two Kids: A Day in our Life. I often find myself getting caught up in feeling like the day slips away from me. Her reminder of having a routine and a daily schedule with accomplishable tasks each day was something I really needed.  She gives some great tips on how to get through a busy day with two little ones to tend to.

Lori’s Favorite Pick!

Balance is such a hard thing to achieve with teenagers! Their schedules are packed with after-school activities, homework, and helping around the house. We live in a world where the demands for bigger and better affect them in various ways. It is especially hard to maintain a balance between good grades and a mental health. Teaching our kids how to be motivated but not overwhelmed requires a delicate touch.  I appreciated Wrae’s perspective on helping your child who might be struggling with the anxiety of reaching this kind of balance.  Check out her post Should you Emphasize Grades or Mental Health and let me know what you think. Wrae’s post was also the viewers favorite this week!  Nice job Wrae!
