    Answer: He was crushed by a falling shelf (a “time” and “date” shelf) — (If you don’t like this one, delete it; it’s weaker.)
  6. If an electric train is traveling north, which way does the smoke go?
    Answer: There is no smoke (it’s electric).
  7. Three switches outside a room control three light bulbs inside. You can enter the room only once. How do you know which switch controls which bulb?
    Answer: Turn one on (warm bulb), one on then off (warm but off), leave one off (cold and off).
  8. A man pushes his car to a hotel and tells the owner he’s bankrupt. What is he doing?
    Answer: Playing Monopoly.
  9. A man is looking at a photo and says, “Brothers and sisters I have none, but that man’s father is my father’s son.” Who is in the photo?
    Answer: His son.

    Answer: They played different opponents.

    Answer: 9.
  15. What can run but never walks, has a mouth but never talks, has a head but never weeps, has a bed but never sleeps?
    Answer: A river.
  16. If you say my name, I break. What am I?
    Answer: Silence.
  17. The more you take, the more you leave behind. What are they?
    Answer: Footsteps.
  18. You’re in a dark room with a candle, a wood stove, and a gas lamp. You have one match. What do you light first?
    Answer: The match.

    Answer: He saws the table in half, makes a “hole,” and climbs out — (If this feels too weird, skip it.)

    Answer: You were born “yesterday” (a place named Yesterday / or it’s New Year’s Day and “yesterday” was Dec 31 ten years ago). (If unclear, replace.)
