Codenames Duet is the perfect game if you love games that make you think and stretch your brain!
In this game, you give a one-word clue to your partner who then has to guess which word or words on the board relate to that clue. If you’ve played the original codenames game, you know how this game goes but the duet version is perfect if you’re looking for two person card games.

Uno
I’m sure we all have probably played Uno a time or two before in our lives! If not, then you have got to try this game out! While you can play Uno with a group of people, it also makes the list of fun two player card games. There are a lot of different variations when it comes to Uno but one that we love to play is called killer Uno.
In killer Uno, you can basically match with the card in the middle at any time if you have the same one in your hand. This allows you to get rid of cards even faster and even avoid a draw two or a draw four if you have a match! You can try this variation or play the classic way!
Spot-It
Spot-It is a fun game that takes a little bit of focus and concentration. I love this game because I’m a bit competitive and this game is one of the best card games for 2 for some friendly competition.
Each Spot-It card has several different pictures on it. Each player starts with a stack of cards and one card is laid in the center. Each player takes their top card and tries to find a picture on their card that matches with a picture on the center card and the first one to put their card in the pile wins that round! This game gets pretty exciting so get ready for some fun!

Skip Bo is another one on our list of card games to play with two people! Skip Bo is a classic game thatI remember playing growing up with my Grandma. It is perfect to play with a younger child or if you just want a game you can play and talk during.
Mad Gab
Mad Gab is a little bit different than your usual card games to play with two people. In this card game, there is a group of letters on the card that, when read quickly, they sound like a familiar phrase. It takes a good listening ear and a sharp mind to be able to decipher these phrases and win the game!

Exploding Kittens is the perfect choice of fun two player card games if you are looking for a really random and funny game to play together.
