Easy Chocolate Sauce Recipe

With just 3 ingredients, you can have it ready in just a few minutes. It’s like your own homemade hot fudge that pairs perfectly with any of your favorite desserts. 

I love serving this easy chocolate sauce over cakes, brownies, and of course a big bowl of ice cream! It’s also great served alongside fruits and cookies as a chocolate dipping sauce. 

I have to admit that whenever I make this recipe not all of it makes it into the jar! It’s just so yummy I can’t resist taking a little spoonful. 

Chocolate Sauce Recipe

Makes: 2 cups

Prep time: 1 minute

Cook time: 5 minutes

Total time: 6 minutes

Ingredients for Chocolate Sauce

  • ½ cup chocolate chips
  • 1 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk
  • ¼ cup butter, unsalted

How to Make this Chocolate Sauce Recipe

  • To begin your easy chocolate sauce, grab a heavy saucepan and place it over medium heat. 
  • Add all the ingredients and stir until the chocolate is completely melted and the sauce is smooth.
  • Remove the sauce from the heat and continue stirring for another minute. 
  • Let the chocolate sauce cool slightly in the pan. 
  • Once cool, pour the sauce into a jar or other container with a lid and it’s ready to serve or store!
