Tips and tricks for Melted Lemon Garlic Butter

  1. If you use lemon juice often, you may have a larger container of lemon juice stored in your fridge. This is perfectly fine to use, however you may notice that the chilled lemon juice will cause your sauce to become solid again! If this happens just pop your sauce in the microwave for 5-10 seconds. This should help it become rich and smooth again.
  2. Be careful when you are microwaving butter. It can splatter very easily, so make sure you keep it covered and keep an eye on it! Put a paper towel or microwave-safe cover on your container while the butter melts.
  3. If cooking artichokes seems daunting, you’ve got to try using an instant pot! We have a great recipe that you can find here for Instant Pot Artichokes.

How else can you use this Melted Lemon Garlic Butter?

This sauce is seriously to die for! You’ll want to have it on everything.

Of course, it is great on artichokes as well as other cooked vegetables, but you can also try it with a variety of meats, bread, and even pasta!

Try marinating some chicken in soy sauce and soda and once cooked using this sauce as a dip. It’ll become your new favorite meal.

Why does my butter look curdled when I add the lemon juice?

If you added your lemon juice to your butter and it looks curdled, don’t worry! This is totally normal.

It may just be that your lemon juice was too cold, and it solidified part of the butter. As you stir it in it should melt back into the sauce!

If you are having trouble getting the butter to be a smooth consistency after adding the lemon juice and the garlic powder, just microwave it for 5-10 seconds to make sure everything is completely melted.
