Fall is in the air and I am dreaming of everything pumpkin! The other day I was craving a pumpkin treat like our moist pumpkin bread, or our instant pot pumpkin cheesecake, but didn’t want to wait for them to cook, so I decided to whip up a delicious bowl of pumpkin fluff. The kids loved it and it is so easy to make and ready in just a few minutes.

This pumpkin fluff with cream cheese is a great after-dinner snack or even after school snack to enjoy as a family. Regardless of when you make it, the whole family will love it!

What is fluff?

You might be wondering what the heck is fluff? I used to wonder the same thing. Fluff is essentially anything that is made with

  • cool whip
  • some sort of fruit
  • marshmallows
  • nuts

Fluff is what we call something when we can’t decide if it is a side dish or a dessert. This pumpkin fluff is made of pumpkin pie mix and cool whip. You can easily add nuts and mini marshmallows if you want to get really creative with it.
