Suck Up The Jelly Beans

The objective is to see who can suck up the most jelly beans and put them in a basket in one minute.

You Will Need

  • Jelly Beans
  • Straws
  • Two Baskets or bowls

How to Play

Each player takes a straw, and when the time starts, they use the straw to suck up a jelly bean and then place it into a basket. The player with the most jelly beans in their basket at the end of the game is the winner.

Egg Swing

The objective is to knock an Easter egg off of a bottle using a sucker on the end of some string.

You Will Need

  • Easter Eggs
  • Suckers
  • String
  • Bottle to balance the egg on

How to Play

Each player takes a sucker pendulum, which is a sucker tied to some string, and, holding the end of the string opposite the sucker, tries to swing the sucker to hit an easter egg off of the top of a bottle. Tips: make the eggs harder to knock off by putting candy inside, or have a bowl next to the bottle, and the player has to knock the egg into the bowl.

Chick Feather Fun

The objective is to keep a feather afloat the longest.

You Will Need

  • Feathers

How To Play

Each player takes a feather and throws it into the air when the time starts and tries to keep it afloat without using their hands, i.e., by blowing on the feather to keep it in the air. The player who keeps it afloat the longest is the winner.

Duck Feet Race

Players race against each other with giant cardboard duck feet with easter eggs stuck to them and try to outrace each other without losing their easter eggs. 

You Will Need

  • A pair of giant duck feet made out of cardboard
  • Dollar store flip flops
  • Glue
  • Scissors
  • Easter eggs
  • Double-sided tape

How to Play

Make a pair of giant duck feet out of cardboard and glue the dollar store flip-flops in the middle. Take five easter eggs and stick them across the top of the duck feet using double-sided tape. Players will race each other wearing duck feet to see how far they can get in one minute. Tip: The winner can be determined by how many eggs are left or by the distance traveled; the player must restart every time an egg falls off.

Egg Carton Pingpong

Players see how many ping-pongs they can get inside empty egg cartons. 

You Will Need

  • Ping-pong balls
  • Empty egg cartons

How to Play

Players will have one minute to see how many ping-pong balls they can either throw or bounce into empty egg cartons. The player with the most ping-pong balls is the winner.

Players will have one minute to assemble a cut-up lucky charms cereal box.

  • Peeps Cereal Box
  • Scissors

How to Play

Take a peeps cereal box and cut it up into different shapes; squares or triangles are shapes that work well, and each player will race to see who can assemble their puzzle the fastest in one minute.

Jelly Bean Whipped Cream Face

Players will smear whipped cream on their faces and see how many jelly beans they can make stick. 

You Will Need

  • Whipped cream
  • Jelly Beans
  • Safety glasses or goggles 

How To Play

Players will start by putting on glasses or goggles to protect their eyes. They will then smear whipped cream onto their face and have one minute to see how many jelly beans they can make stick to their faces.

Peeps Bracelet

Players will race to see who can complete a peeps cereal bracelet.

You Will Need

  • Peeps cereal (the kind with the circle cereal)
  • String
  • Scissors

How to Play

Each player will race to put as many peep cereal pieces on a string as they can to create a bracelet. The catch? Each player can only use one hand.

Pastel Pom-Pom Race

Players race to see who can get pom-poms across the finish line.

You Will Need

  • Pastel-colored pom-poms of various sizes
  • Tape
  • Straws

How To Play

Players will use a straw to blow as many pom-poms as they can across the finish line. The player with the most pom-poms over the line wins! Tip: Two players can go against each other by picking a specific color for their team, or players take turns going one at a time.

Eggs In Your Trunk

Players race to see who can shake the eggs free from their tissue boxes.

You Will Need

  • Empty tissue boxes
  • Empty plastic Easter eggs
  • String

How To Play

Fill the empty boxes with the Easter eggs and attach the boxes to the players’ backside using string around the player’s waist to keep the boxes in place. Players will have one minute to see how many eggs they can shake from the tissue boxes.

Pastel Post-It Note Challenge

Two players try to stick as many post-it notes onto their partner.

You Will Need

  • Pastel-colored post-it notes

Two teams race to see how many post-its notes they can stick on their partner in one minute!

Players will use a balloon to try and stack cups.

  • Balloons- Easter colors preferred

How To Play

Individuals will be timed to see how fast they can stack a row of cups with only a balloon. Each person will use a deflated balloon and blow it up inside the cup to pick it up and stack the cups.

Yam Race

Players try to get a yam to the finish line and back using a spoon.

You Will Need

  • Yams
  • Spoons
  • Tape

How To Play

Individuals start at one line and only use a spoon to move the yam; players will have one minute to get to the finish line and back. The player who moved the yam the farthest or who made it back to the starting line wins!

Gummy Worm Fishing

Players use a gummy worm for fishing for pretzels.

You Will Need

  • Gummy worms
  • Pretzels
  • String or fishing line
  • Bowls

How To Play

Players will moisten the gummy worm, tie a string or fishing line around the gummy worm, and then fish for pretzels by lowering the worm into a bowl of pretzels and then eating the pretzels that stick to the worm. The player who eats the most pretzels wins!

Players try to eat a cookie without using their hands.

You Will Need

  • Cookies (small cookies work best)

How To Play

Individuals will lean back and place a cookie on their forehead, and then they will have to try and move the cookie to their mouth without using their hands.

Teams will use a roll of Easter-colored crepe paper to wrap their partner.

  • Rolls of Easter-colored crepe paper

How To Play

Teams will take a roll of crepe paper and wrap another teammate up like a mummy. The first team to use all their crepe paper wins!

Reverse Crepe Paper Wrap

Players try to unravel their partners the fastest.

You Will Need

  • Rolls of Easter-colored crepe paper (that you used in crepe paper wrap)

How To Play

After playing the crepe paper wrap game, teams will see who can quickly unravel the crepe paper from their teammate.

Jelly Bean Rattle

Players will try to fill an empty 2-liter bottle with jelly beans.

You Will Need

  • 4 two-liter bottles
  • Jelly Beans
  • Tape

How to Play

Fill two of the soda bottles with jelly beans and then tape the other empty bottles to the ones full of jelly beans. Players will then try to fill the empty bottle by shaking the two bottles. The player with the most jelly beans transferred wins.

Dyed Egg Race

Teams race to the finish line with an egg balanced on a spoon.

You Will Need

  • Dyed eggs
  • Spoons
  • Tape

How To Play

Teams will line up at a starting line, balancing a dyed egg on a spoon. The first team to cross the finish line with the egg still on the spoon wins!

Teams try to move marshmallows from one plate to another using chopsticks.

How To Play

Players will use a set of chopsticks to move the marshmallow bunnies from one plate to another. The player with the most moved marshmallow bunnies in one minute wins!

Players try to eat a donut without using their hands.

You Will Need

  • Easter colored donuts
  • String

How To Play

Tie the donuts to a string and hang them at various lengths along the string. Players will have one minute to see who can eat the donut the fastest without using their hands.

Marshmallow Throw

Teams compete to see who can get the most marshmallow bunnies in a bucket.

You Will Need

  • Marshmallow bunnies
  • Bucket or large bowl
  • Clipboards or cardboard squares
  • Tape or string

How To Play

Tie or tape a clipboard or cardboard square around a player’s waist. Keeping the clipboard or cardboard facing forward. Another team member will toss the marshmallow bunnies at the player with the clipboard, and the other teammate will try to hit the marshmallow into a bucket sitting in front of them. The team with the most marshmallows in their bucket after one minute is the winner!

Players try to find one painted kernel within a bowl of unpainted kernels.

You Will Need

  • Popcorn kernels (with one painted an easter color)
  • Easter Basket
  • Chopsticks

How To Play

Players will try to find a painted kernel within an Easter basket full of kernels using the chopstick to remove the painted kernel. The team with the fastest time in under a minute wins!

Eat Like A Chick

Players try to eat cereal threaded on a string the fastest.

You Will Need

  • Circle cereal (the smaller, the harder the game will be)
  • String

How To Play

Thread some cereal onto a string, and hang the cereal so that the player will need to eat the cereal off the string like a chick. Players will have one minute to see who can eat the most cereal off the string with their hands behind their backs.

Peep Stack

Players will see how many peeps they can stack on a paper plate balancing on someone’s head.

You Will Need

  • Peeps of various shapes
  • Paper plates

How To Play

Players will balance a paper plate on their heads, and a teammate will have one minute to see how many peeps they can stack or place on the plate. The team with the most peeps on the paper plate is the winner!

Players will be blindfolded and will need to find jelly beans hidden in easter grass.

How To Play

Players will race to see who can stack as many plastic Easter egg halves on top of each other in one minute. The player with the most halves stacked wins!

Robin Egg Separation

Players will have one minute to separate robin egg candies by color.

  • Robin egg candies
  • Cups

How To Play

Fill a cup with some robin egg candies. Players will have one minute to sort the cadies out by color. To make it more challenging for older players, see which team can separate the most candies in one minute.

Haystacks

Players will see how many hula hoops they can toss onto another player.

You Will Need

  • Hula Hoops
  • Tape

How To Play

Teams will race to see how many hula hoops one player can toss onto another player. Tape two lines a few feet apart and have two team members stand on each line facing each other. One teammate stands with hands together up in the air. The other teammate will have one minute to see how many hula hoops they can get onto their partner.

Bunny Hop

Players race in a sack to see who can cross the finish line first!

  • Sacks
  • Tape or string for a starting and finish line

How To Play

Individuals will line up at the starting line and get into a sack. They will then race by hopping to the finish line. The first player across the finish line first, wins!
