President’s Day Color By Number Sheets

President’s Day is coming up! That means the kids get a day off! I know from personal experiences, those days off from school can add a lot of stress to the adults in the household, especially if you are working from home. The routine is thrown off and the kids need things to keep them occupied!

Allow me to help lighten your load! These President’s Day Color By Number sheets are so handy. My kids love them, and the fun coloring sheets definitely keep them entertained! By having an activity on hand, I don’t have to flounder when the kids declare they are bored to death and have nothing to do.

Helpful Tools We Love When Downloading Printables

  • Printer– I love my HP+ printer that uses Instant Ink. I love it because we can use as much color ink as you want for one low cost starting at $.99/ month for ink. Try it out for free here!
  • Cardstock- I always recommend printing on cardstock. This makes it way more durable so you don’t have to worry about printing it time and time again.
  • Laminator / Laminating Sheets- Again, for added durability, grab a laminator and laminating sheets so that you can use this again and again!
  • Scissors (I seriously love these ones)
  • Dry Erase Pens- Use dry erase pens so that you can wipe your laminated printable clean over and over again for endless use!

More President’s Day Activity Ideas!

Learn more about Presidents of the United States throughout history. Reading is always a great way to learn! My kids love Weird But True Know-It-All: U.S. Presidents for the book’s silly facts. They also love the facts and history found in Presidents of the United States of America: A History of America’s Leaders

Make sure to let loose and get a little silly on the kids’ day off. Have your kids rolling on the floor laughing with Presidents’ Day Jokes for Kids. You could even write some of the jokes down and put them in their lunch boxes for a fun surprise during the week leading up to the holiday.

Have a reenactment of your kids’ favorite stories from their favorite presidents. For example, they could reenact the story of George Washington chopping down his dad’s cherry tree.

For a fun game night activity, you could also create your own trivia game based on facts of various presidents. Your kids will learn so much, and the great thing is, they’ll be having too much fun to realize it!
