Whipped Kool Aid Recipe
I just discovered this whipped kool aid recipe and I have to say that I am completely obsessed!
Basically, it’s iced Kool Aid with a blended mixture of heavy cream, sugar, and Kool Aid on top.
They come together to make possibly the best summer drink I’ve ever had. It’s just the perfect amount of creaminess and I can’t resist.
You can use any flavor of Kool Aid that you like for this sweet drink, but our personal favorite is the mixed berry. Yum!
And if you are converted to whipped drinks like my family is, make sure you try whipped lemonade too!

Tips Tricks and FAQs
- This drink is meant to be stirred before you drink it, but the layers of Kool Aid and cream look so beautiful I often serve it unstirred with a decorative straw and let people stir it on their own. Each layer tastes so good on its own too. We often drink the layers separately!
- If you are really trying to impress, place the whipped cream mixture into a piping bag with an open star tip (or any of your other favorite tips). Pipe the cream on top of the Kool Aid instead of just scooping it in. It looks so lovely, and you can even add some colored sanding sugar or sprinkles on top to finish the look.
- If you have zero sugar Kool Aid, you may find that you want to add a bit more sugar to your whipped cream mixture before putting it in your drink. Start with ⅓ of a cup as the Whipped Kool Aid recipe states, then add in additional sugar a teaspoon or so at a time until it’s to your desired sweetness.
Storage
This drink doesn’t store great so it’s lucky that it’s so quick and easy to make! If you do want to make any ahead of time, you can make the cream mixture and place it in the fridge for up to 24 hours before topping it on the drink.
Here’s a secret, though. This drink is also amazing as a popsicle. Grab your favorite popsicle mold and pour the Kool Aid and then the cream just as you would in a glass. Freeze solid and enjoy frozen!
