What is This or That?
We love playing games to help us stay up for New Year’s. And eating food too of course, like Homemade Air Fryer Pizza Roll and Air Fryer Fried Pickles.
This year we are going to try New Year’s this or that. We made a list of 50 New Years this or that questions to paly as a family to keep us partying until midnight and we want to share it with you.
This or that question has become so popular on Instagram and we wanted to try it out. Our 150 this or that questions were fun so we made a list for New Year’s this or that.
This or that is one of the easiest games to play. It doesn’t take any strategy, just simply pick which option you like better, it is sort of like Would You Rather. Your mind is free to chat instead of being focused on competing.
Playing games that aren’t competitive is a great way to get to know someone. Even if you think you already know that person I am sure some of their answers will surprise you. Take a minute to ask why they picked the option they did if it surprises you.

How to Play
You can play with just two people or a big group. There are no rules to how many can play or how old you have to be to play.
If playing New Years This or That with a big group it might be easier to read the question and have people stand on one side of the room for one answer and the others on the other side for the other answer.
How well do you know someone? Another fun way to play is to guess what the other person’s answer will be. You have a 50 percent chance of getting it right. Look at you go!
The only thing you need to play is our list of 50 New Year’s this or that questions. Really that’s all you need. Yay for no set-up or clean up.

I may give this a go. We spent Christmas trying ‘Guess who’ but it seemed to become more and more difficult after every drink!
This game looks far simpler and still good fun for the family.
