We all love Would You Rather questions in my family, but lately, we’ve really been trying to stump each other! Cue these hard would you rather questions!
These are the kind of questions that really make you sit and think. And without fail we always end up in a full-out friendly debate after each one!
And most of these can be played with just about any group. From would you rather questions for kids to adults and everything in between. So, you can play as a whole family, with some friends, at work, and more!
Why would you rather questions are the best
I love games of all kinds, but these hard would you rather questions are some of my very favorites. What I really like about them is that they are so versatile!
No matter who you play with or how you play, you’ll be having a good time. I’ve pulled these questions out with my husband, while waiting in lines with my kids, on road trips, at girls’ nights, and so many other times and they never fail me!
And the bonus is that they are so low effort! Just save this page so you can come back to the list and pull them out whenever you need them. It’s a no-brainer.
How to Play: Hard Would You Rather Questions
There are a million ways to use these hard would you rather questions! Here are a few of our very favorites.
One on one
The classic way to play is one-on-one with someone else. Take turns reading each other a question and have the other person answer. You’ll learn so much about each other! You can pass your phone back and forth with this list or even print it out. We love bringing these out on date nights!
Secret Reveal
If you are playing as a family or with a small group, you can grab some whiteboards or paper and have everyone sit in a circle. Take turns reading one of the would you rather questions and have everyone secretly write their answer on a board.
Reveal your answers on the count of 1-2-3 and see what everyone wrote! It’s so much fun to be surprised by everyone’s answers and see who agrees and disagrees!
You can pass the questions around or even print them, cut them out, and place them in a bowl to pick out of.
Speed Dating Style
If you have a really large group, you may consider having people play speed-dating style! Have everyone sit in pairs and have a few difficult would you rather questions listed for each of them. After a few minutes, have one person from each pair switch to a new spot and start again.
This is a great get-to-know-you activity for big groups!
