Trivia Games are my family’s favorite game to play. We love quizzing each other in friendly competition and seeing who knows the most! It never fails that the underdog wins in the end and is crowned the champion!

One of the reasons we love trivia so much is that we can cover any topic that sounds interesting. My daughter always picks Fairy Tale Trivia, and my son loves playing Science Trivia. I always know which season it is because my teens pull out Baseball Trivia in the spring and Football Trivia in the fall.

With such a wide age range of kids in my family, it can be hard to find activities everyone can do together. That’s why trivia is perfect! My big kids can team up with my little ones, and everyone ends up having a fun time.

Why I Love Trivia Games

Since I was young, I’ve always loved reading. It never fails that I am sucked into a world of adventure whenever I open a new book. I love learning about new cultures and the ways that they live.

My kids are following in my footsteps and are good readers too! Their quest for knowledge doesn’t stop at books, however. They’re constantly asking me questions about different topics. I love it!

Trivia games are the perfect type of game for my knowledge-seekers. They get to show off the facts they’ve learned as well as gather new information. They feel accomplished and their cups are filled with more knowledge. It’s a win-win!

How To Play Golf Trivia

Trivia is the perfect game to be played at the dinner table or in the car. My family loves taking road trips, and I always download several trivia games onto my phone to avoid the “Are we there yet?” cries from the back seat.

To play trivia, start by downloading the list of questions and grabbing a piece of paper and pencil to keep score. Then, you’re ready to gather your players and get the party started!

When all of the players arrive, decide how to divide the teams. It doesn’t matter how many people are on each team! You could do boys vs. girls, parents vs. children, couples, etc. The decision is up to you.

After the teams are set, you’re ready to play! Choose a player to read the first question. Whichever team correctly answers first gets the point.

The game is over when a team reaches a certain number of points (you can choose how many) or all of the questions have been answered.

Benefits Of Trivia Games

Trivia games aren’t just fun to play. They also:

  • Increase your knowledge. You never know when your trivia facts will come in handy!
  • Help kids learn how to support teammates.
  • Encourage players to win and lose with grace.
  • Provide fun memories for family members.
  • Create new traditions for the future.
