My family loves to play Trivia Games! We love quizzing each other on all sorts of topics. My kids like to make it a game to find the most obscure topic and see if they can stump their siblings!

Some of our favorite topics are Star Wars Trivia (the force is strong with my boys!), Fascinating Space Trivia, and The Best Kids Movie Trivia. I love that my kids love picking the topics for our trivia nights.

Trivia is the perfect activity for a family on the go. I love that we can pull up a list of questions and have fun in no time! With as much time as we spend in the car driving from one activity to another, trivia games are the perfect way to pass the time!

Why I Love Trivia Games

My kids roll their eyes when I try to get them to do something educational. It feels like a constant battle to make learning fun in my home.Thank goodness for trivia games!

Yes, my kids realize they are learning, but they’re having so much fun that they don’t care! They love finding facts and sharing them with each other.

When my kids play trivia games, they work together to figure out answers to tricky questions and cheer each other on.

Even though the games can be competitive, everyone supports each other and learns good sportsmanship. Little ones learn to be good winners or losers and enjoy healthy competition as a fun bonding activity.

How To Play Trivia

The best part of trivia is that there are so many different ways to play! It can be played with any number of people and skill levels. You could even play it solo if the mood strikes!

Once the players are gathered, decide how you want to play.

You could play individually or on teams.

Teams are great if there are players with a wide range of skills. You could pair adults with children, boys vs. girls, couples…the list goes on.

After the teams are set, choose someone to read the question to the players. This can be the same person each round, or you can rotate between the teams. Your choice!

Whoever correctly answers the question first gets the point! The game is over when all of the questions have been read, or a team reaches a certain number of points.
