You finally made it to the beach! The beautiful place where you’re going to lay in the sun with a good book and relax the day away.
The only problem with this picture-perfect scene is that your little ones will still need to be entertained.

How to prep for a beach scavenger hunt
The great thing about scavenger hunts at the beach is that there really isn’t a whole lot of prep work that you have to do because we have done most of the work for you and created this super cute beach scavenger hunt printable for you to just print out and take with you to the beach!

We found that the best time to pull out this beach scavenger hunt is after you’ve been at the beach for a little while and the kids have had time to explore a little bit.
When you first get to the beach the kids are excited and just want to run around and play. This is a great activity to do later on your beach trip.

Beach Scavenger Hunt Rules
So now that you’ve made it to the beach and have let the kiddos explore for a little while, it’s time to explain the rules.
You can either split the kids up into two teams or let them all do the scavenger hunt on their own!
If you split the kids up into teams, it would be fun to have a little prize or treat for the winner!
