100 Christmas Charade Ideas

Charades is one of our favorite party games, or games to play with the whole family! During the holiday season, we rotate between Christmas Charades, Thanksgiving Charades, and Winter Charades! Holiday charades are a great option that involves kids and adults of all ages. We love to gather around the living room playing with our Christmas charades cards for hours and hours!

How to Play Christmas Charades

Charades is simple to play! It is the perfect game for Christmas parties because it is so easy and even younger children can play.

To begin, you will want to divide the group into at least two different teams. You will also need to then decide which team is going to go first.

Once you decide on which team will go first, then you will decide who the first person to act out the clue will be. The first player will then choose the first Christmas charades card off the pile. Once they look at the card they then have 1 minute to get their team members to guess the word. If they do guess it your team gets a point! If your team does not guess it within one minute then the other team gets a chance to score. They will have one guess to get it right, if they do then they get the point.

The first team to score a certain number of points wins! Everyone also was has a great time playing and lots of laughs at family gatherings and at your holiday party.

  • Scissors (I seriously love these ones)

  1. I’ve never played Christmas Charades, but it’s a great idea! We’re just a twosome (or maybe a trio, depending on when our little one decides to make her entrance) so we’ll definitely want to play some games to get in the festive spirit and make Christmas special.
